Louis is a 16.3-17hh OTTB retired from racing in December 2021. While Louis a beautiful warmblood type TB Louis does not suit a heavy working environment and would be best suited to a pleasure or companion home. He may also excel in liberty or showing (in hand). 

With the right work, Louis has a beautiful warmblood type movement. And is always mistaken as one. 

He is quirky with plenty of personality to share, is lower in the herd an extremely good doer, able to hold weight and maintain excellent feet and can be left unshod. I regularly lunge him to give him something to do which he seems to enjoy. Louis has been to hack days, jump days, dressage comps and has been walked around the suburban streets with no issues. 

Louis had a successful kissing spine surgery in December of 2022 and successfully rehabilitated throughout 2023. He has previously been able to jump, do dressage and pony club but has shown signs of discomfort when ridden which I am happy to discuss with a potential home.

Due to his education level, and personality, Louis requires an experienced rider and will not be offered to a beginner home. Up to date on all vaccinations, teeth and feet.
