10 Days to Go until the 20th Annual NZ National Jumping & Show Hunter Championships

Top class jumping action hits Christchurch next week for the prestigious 20^th annual New Zealand National Jumping and Show Hunter Championships.

Boosted by a strong North Island contingent, the competition will be up with the best jumping action to hit Christchurch before. 

The McMillian Equine Feeds Senior Horse Grand Prix has attracted an all-star Kiwi line-up with Olympians Katie McVean (Ohaupo) and Maurice Beatson (Dannervirke) amongst others, up against the best combinations the South Island has to offer including top local hope Susie Hayward (Rakaia).

The Fiber Fresh Feeds One Star Horse Grand Prix will also be tough, as will The Press-sponsored Pony Grand Prix which will feature newly crowned North Island Champion Steffi Whittaker (Halswell) battling it out against a stellar line-up of top pony riders from around the country.

The event promises great family entertainment – entry is FREE all four days. Food and refreshments are available on the grounds.

Finals are Sunday, February 9 - stay tuned for results during the show.
