100% Clearance At Inglis Autumn Thoroughbred Sale
The 2015 Inglis Autumn Thoroughbred Sale at Inglis’ Newmarket complex today achieved 100 per cent clearance rate, selling all 54 Lots that were offered through the ring. This is up on last year’s already impressive 97 per cent clearance rate.
26 mares, 14 of which had foals at foot, eight yearlings, 18 racehorses and two stallions were sold, with one in three Lots being purchased by online bidders.
“Since implementing our world-class Online Bidding Service in 2007, there has been a definite trend towards people choosing to purchase horses so conveniently,” said Inglis National Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy.
The online bidding portal enables buyers to hear and see all the action from the sale ring in real time, and allows them to bid on all Lots simultaneously with live bidders.
The Online Bidding Service is available for all Inglis sales.
Buyers who intend to purchase horses online are encouraged to inspect Lots in the flesh prior to the sale.
