2011 Saddleworld Australian Youth Showjumping Festival

The Ninth Annual Saddleworld Australian Youth Showjumping Festival was held on 24-26 September at Camden's Bi Centennial Equestrian Park.

Despite one rainy day the weather was quite kind and three days of great jumping was held over three arenas and 40 jumping classes. 

The main competitions over the weekend were the FEI Children’s International Jumping Competitions. This year they were newly named as The Gold, Silver & Bronze Tour classes replacing Category A,B & C.
 
The overall winners of these classes were:-
Gold Tour
1st         Nikaela Malby riding Redshot from Douglas Park NSW
2nd        Brittany Murphy riding Peace Image from Belbowrie in Queensland
3rd         Sophie Ahmat riding Mon Ami NZPH from Western Australia
 
Silver Tour
1st         Pia Boileau riding Yandoo Drought from Goulburn NSW
2nd        Riley Mackillop riding Our Great Show from Terrey Hills NSW
3rd         Jock Rice Ward riding Cutawang Cruiser from Dubbo NSW
 
Bronze Tour
1st         Valentina Aliprandi riding Snowy River Ginger Meggs from Exeter NSW
2nd        Sarina Brookes riding Norwood Bound from near Wagga NSW
3rd         Georgie Grove riding Nawarrah Park Austin Powers from Gordon in Sydney.
 
The Monday saw a great day of jumping in the sunshine for the Grand Prix events - winners of these classes as follows:
 
Child Grand Prix for riders 14 years and under 90cm
1st Heath Ahmat riding Serene Dream from WA.
 
Pony Jumper Grand Prix 90cm
1st Sigi Schneider riding Jasper da Bomb
 
Open Jumper from riders 21 years and under 90cm
Georgie Groves riding Nawarrah Park Austin Powers
 
Novice Junior Grand Prix 80cm
Jessica Langley riding Ziggy
 
Novice Young Rider Grand Prix 1m
Tom Baumer riding Victorioso
 
Open Junior Grand Prix 1.20m
Maddie Smouha Ho riding Hedge
 
Open Young Rider Grand Prix riding
