2012 ASHS National Championship Show
The ASHS National Championship Show is the most prestigious annual event of The Australian Stock Horse Society calendar. It holds a programme of events including the:
- National Futurity;
- National Maturity;
- Maiden Campdraft Series;
- ABBEY Open Challenge; and
- Youth Challenge.
With over $100,000 in prizemoney, saddles and trophies on offer, the National Championship Show attracts Members and spectators from around Australia each year.
The 2012 Australian Stock Horse Society National Championship Show will take place on 5-10 March 2012 at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) in Tamworth, NSW.
The 2012 Fountain of Youth National Yearling and Two Year Old Sale will also be held during the Championships, on Wednesday 7 March 2012.
Some features this year include $17,000 National Futurity & $12,000 Maiden Series Campdraft.
Other outstanding awards on offer to competitors include:
- Supreme Led Horse will receive $500 plus rug/garland and service to elite ASH Led stallion worth $1000;
- Supreme Hack will receive $1,000 plus rug/garland and service to elite Hack Stallion worth $1,200; and
- Supreme Working Horse will win $500 plus rug/garland and service to International Performance Stallion worth $1,850.
