I am delighted to announce the 2016 ACE Breeding Inspection and Assessment Tour organisation is in full swing and I am happy to say that we are all set for another great travelling adventure, visiting six states; driving and flying over 10 000km to ensure the Australian Performance Horse and Pony Industry will have again access to an highly recognised and knowledgeable, objective and international breeding assessor!

ACE has again been very fortunate to welcome back international breeding assessor Gerd Kuest as our ACE Studbooks Inc. Assessor for the 2016 ACE Breeding Inspection and Assessment Tour. In Germany, Gerd has been involved with the Oldenburger, Holsteiner Verband and the ZfdP for the past 30 years, not only as highly recognised judge but also as a very successful breeder and owner of many victorious German Bundeschampionats and WBFSH Young Horse World

Championships competed horses, riding ponies and licensed stallions. Gerd has judged in countless competitions including the prestigious German Bundeschampionat so we were thrilled that he accepted our invitation to once again complete the ACE Breeding Inspection and Assessment Tour with us in Australia.

By welcoming someone with Gerd’s background, knowledge and skills as our Assessor, we can be confident that the ACE Studbooks Inc. has followed its goals and traditions of offering the Australian Warmblood and Performance Horse and Pony Industry an independent, consistent and transparent assessment procedure open to all Australian Performance Horse, Pony and Warmblood Breeders.

Each ACE Assessment completed throughout the ACE Breeding Inspection and Assessment Tours is an opportunity for the breeder and owner to receive feedback; an important instrument in any breeding program to improve the quality of their Warmblood and Performance Horses and Ponies.

The annual ACE Breeding Inspection and Assessment Tour also presents an opportunity to benchmark horses from other breeder’s and owners nationally and internationally, whether you are a first time breeder, or a long term breeder of one or two horses or an established commercial stud. The Tour scoring remains the same: consistent, independent and transparent for each and every horse with no discrimination of registration status, breed, size, colour or age.

In addition to the 2016 Tour announcement, I would like to use the opportunity to communicate with all ACE Breeders as well as all equestrian enthusiasts, that the ACE Studbooks Inc. have been confirmed as Member of the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH).

This recognition not only confirms the ACE Studbooks Inc. as an international recognised Australian Warmblood Association but also opens opportunities for our breeders to participate in the prestigious Young Horse World Championships.

Thank you to all of our ACE members, breeders, enthusiasts for your support over the years, your loyalty towards the ACE Studbooks Inc. and continuous support and cooperation.

Moreover, I would like to welcome all ACE Performance Pony Breeders and I am very happy to announce the ACE Performance Pony Studbooks. During the last year, the ACE Performance Pony Breeding guidelines have been formalized and the Studbooks are open! If you would like more information about the ACE Performance Pony Studbooks, please visit the ACE website or do not hesitate to contact the ACE office directly.

I would like to further highlight, that all ACE registered horses and ponies receive the ACE Horse / Pony Passport which has been created in accordance to European Standards and is bound with rivets to guarantee the integrity of your Horses and Ponies at all times!

The ACE Studbooks Inc. also offer DNA testing and ACE guarantees that all results tested through the ACE Studbooks Inc. will be made available to ALL recognised national and international breed associations to ensure efficient registration procedures with ACE or an association of your choosing.

Last but most certainly not least, I would like to extend a huge thank you to all ACE Breeders and Enthusiasts for your continuous support and loyalty over the years.
