Western Australian (WA) rider, Deon Stokes, is one of those unique riders who competes successfully in both dressage and eventing. When you live on the western side of Australia and are serious about competing at an elite level it's not easy, especially if you have to travel to the east coast of Australia for events such as the Saddleworld Australian Dressage Championships. A foal by legendary dressage stallion Totilas, sold at the 2012 Oldenburg autumn elite auction in Vechta, Germany, has equalled the foal auction price record, reports Horse and Hound. The colt, Total Recall, who is by Totilas out of a Sandro Hit/Figaro mare, equalled the record when he went under the hammer for €200,000....
