Crundwell Auction (USA) - One for the History Books

Dixon, Illinois (USA) took center stage Sunday, with an auction for the history books. Former Comptroller, Rita Crundwell's world re-owned quarter horses were auctioned off. Crundwell is accused of stealing 53 million dollars from the city. At the auction 319 of her horses were up for grabs, and bidders showed up in the thousands, both in person and on-line, including Australians.... Inglis Platinum Club Attracts New Racehorse Owners

The stage is set for a fight to the finish in Abu Dhabi with three riders in contention for the 2012 championship after a dramatic night of show jumping at GCT’s debut in Vienna. The 11th leg of the Global Champions Tour delivered a Grand Prix packed with surprises and left Edwina Tops-Alexander and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (pictured right) on equal points in the GCT ranking - but with Edwina still leading due to her win in Doha at the start of the season. Tom McDermott is the 2012 Senior and Young Rider Australian Show Jumping Champion. Horse & Hound have reported that Aussie eventer, Clayton Fredericks, will be basing himself in Ocala, Florida, from next month. He is taking 35 stalls at Charles and Anne Koch’s Oak Lane Farm and hopes to have 10 horses training from there by January 2013.... News Search
