This year's Saddleworld Dressage Festival starts on Thursday 8 December and continues through until Sunday 11 December. Excellent entries have been received for all classes and horses are coming from all states of Australia. Dutch dressage queen, Anky van Grunsven and her Olympic champion horse, Salinero, have been added to the Dutch Olympic squad by chef d equipe Sjef Janssen. Anky and Salinero have earned their place in the team after double victories in Salzburg (Austria) last weekend, in addition to high scores in Falsterbo (Sweden) and Donaueschingen (Germany). ... Leading from start to finish Stuart Tinney has won the CCI3* at Lakes and Craters Three Day Event aboard John and Jane Pittard's 13-year-old Daley K gelding Pluto Mio. Sales of Paralympic Equestrian tickets for the London 2012 Paralympic Games have broken records, with more than 40,000 tickets already sold. And there was a further opportunity for spectator numbers to increase with remaining tickets going on sale at 1pm GMT on 2 December. The number of tickets sold to date for the 11 Paralympic Equestrian events taking place in Greenwich Park next year (30 August - 4 September) has already overtaken the previous record of 33,000 spectators that watched the Beijing 2008 Paralympic equestrian events in Hong Kong. ...
