3rd - Harrie Fasher Art

The sculptures, drawings and paintings of artist, Harrie Fasher, reveal her intimate connection with the horse.  The horse is her muse.  The sculptures and drawings investigate all aspects of our relationship to the horse and the Australian landscape. 

Their innate beauty and elegance is contrasted with the harsh realities of equine sport and the bush.  Fasher's drawings and sculptures are a delicate balance of drawn line and found objects describing a narrative with the horse as the central character. 

As an emerging artist Fasher has had much success and is currently working towards her first solo show in June 2011.
