ANZAC Centenary Event - Tails from the Past: To remember the horses

Addison Road Community Centre proudly present our ANZAC centenary event to remember the war horse. 

Join in to honour the incredible horses who played an oft forgotten role in our nation's ANZAC history.  Be transported back to a bygone era when horses were part of daily life at Addison Road Community Centre former Army Barracks, as the Australian Light Horse Association perform a concise re-enactment at 11am. 

Dress up in Period Costume finery. There'll be a WWl era Fete selling antiques and goods from the time.  There'll be old fashioned fun and games, music, competitions, demonstrations, historical interviews and much, much more.
