Aussie Boyd Exell Wins at Royal Windsor Horse Show
Published on Monday, May 16, 2011 in General
Aussie Boyd Exell continued his winning form over the weekend at the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show. Royal Windsor Horse Show is host to one of the most important driving events in the UK’s calendar - The LandRover International Driving Grand Prix.
The competition takes place over the course of four days. The first two days are dedicated to dressage, the third day is the Marathon section that covers a large part of the private grounds of Windsor Castle and the final day is the cones driving.
Boyd and his team of four horses (Capone, Winston, Rambo, Spitfire and Monty) won the Dressage and Marathon stages and incurred 3 penalties in the Cones for the overall win. Boyd has a great history at this show, winning in 2008 and placing second last year.
Congratulations to Boyd and his team.
