Aussie Guy McLean to Thrill Florida Dressage Crowd
A delightful break in the competition is planned during the Wellington Classic Dressage CDI (Florida, USA) when Stillpoint Farm and Martin Collins Equine Surfaces host the Friday night Competitor’s Party on 11 February. Title sponsor Martin Collins Equine Surfaces, joins the Competitor’s Party which will include fine cuisine, samplings from Dave Page’s famous wine collection, equestrian vendors and a demonstration by Guy McLean, the Australian horse trainer who will astound guests with his exciting performance and feats of incredible horsemanship.
Mclean’s performance is sure to enthrall the wealth of dressage trainers and riders who attend the event.
McLean, whose skills are well known in his native Australia and was a demonstrator at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky, presents a show with between two and four horses featuring Australian horsemanship and training skills. For this engagement, The Dutta Corporation is generously sponsoring McLean’s performance and his shows have been seen across Australia and at Equitana Asia Pacific, as well as during his current tour in the United States. Guy's horses are presented at liberty and under saddle, and exhibit many of the upper level dressage movements as well as a level of trust in their handler that is unreal.
Stillpoint Farm is the home to many international trainers, including owner Tuny Page. The farm encapsulates Page’s vision of a collaborative training environment for dressage riders and trainers. “We are very excited to be hosting the Competitor’s Party for the dressage community and to have all our sponsors contributing. It should be a fantastic evening of equestrian entertainment,” said Page. “We are really looking forward to Guy McLean’s performance, and to spending a night with fellow horse lovers.”
Stillpoint Farm is thrilled to be able to give back to the Wellington dressage community by hosting the Wellington Classic Dressage CDI Competitor’s Party. The Wellington Classic Dressage shows are one of a series of national and international caliber competitions that take place during the Florida winter show season. “We are so thankful to John Flanagan and his wife Noreen O’Sullivan for their consistency and commitment to providing well organized dressage shows, and we are happy to be able to contribute to the Wellington dressage community,” said Page.
