Published on Thursday, October 7, 2010 in 2010 WEG
After a huge day in the jumping arena at WEG on Wednesday, the Australian team held onto their 7th placing in the Team event. A great achievement by the Aussies! The winners were the mighty Germans, ahead of France in second place and Belgium in third - Europe reigned supreme in the jumping battle of the nations.

Australian riders once again did us proud over the huge fences with Matt Williams producing an excellent clear, Chris Chugg on 4 faults and Edwina Alexander and James Paterson-Robinson on 8 faults each.

After today's jumping Chris Chugg and Edwina Alexander are placed 20th and 21st respectively and go through to the individual final, which will be contested by the top 30 riders on Friday 8 October.
