Australian Miniature Pony Society Inc NSW Branch - 2013 NSW Championship Feature Show: Results

The 2013 NSW Championship Feature Show was held on the 12-13 October at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.

This event received record entries for the second year in a row! The event included classes for led, handlers, harness, performance (jumping) and liberty.   The NSW Branch Committee also held the 2013 NSW Australian Miniature Pony of the Year event for Harness, Handlers, Appendix and Australian Miniature Ponies during the Saturday evening program – this event requires ponies and handlers to qualify during the previous season who then compete for the ultimate title of Australian Miniature Pony of the Year.

Congratulations to all competitors for a wonderful display of the Australian Miniature Pony Breed – the judges commented on the high quality and the presentation of the ponies and were extremely impressed. Congratulations also to the winners and placegetters over the two days. For the first time, the NSW Branch included amateur owner and amateur handler classes – both sections were very well supported and the NSW Branch Committee looks forward to continuing these classes in the future.

The NSW Championship Feature Show continues to grow with the NSW Branch Committee already planning next year’s event – 2014 is a special year for the Australian Miniature Pony Society, it’s the 40^th Anniversary for the society since being established in 1974 at Liverpool and we have big plans to celebrate this momentous occasion!
