Birds Equisports Takes Dressage With Altitude CDI Naming Rights for 2015

Organisers of the 2015 event are extremely excited to welcome Birds Equisports as their naming rights sponsor. Birds Equisports managing director Camilla Palmer says “DWA is one of my favourite dressage events on the calendar and I would really like to help make it a great show in 2015”.

Incorporating CDI3*, CDI-Y, National Grand Prix, Medium Tour, Novice and Advanced competitions, this event promises to be one of the best DWA events held to date.

DWA will again showcase to the world the depth of talent our growing dressage scene offers with leading Australian Riders expressing their intention to attend the event including World Equestrian Games Australian representatives Mary Hanna and Maree Tomkinson (Vic), 2014 National and Equitana Equestrian Grand Final champion Heath Ryan (NSW), 2014 DWA Grand Prix Freestyle champion Caroline Wagner (Vic), up and coming Grand Prix combination Sue Hearn (NSW) and Remington plus a host of other Australian dressage elite and rising stars.

With a highly regarded judging panel in place including 5* Susie Hoevenaars (AUS) fresh from the high pressure task of judging the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, Susie will be accompanying 5* judges Eduard de Wolff Van Westerrode (NED), Jean-Michel Roudier (FRA), Mary Seefried (AUS) and 4* judges Sue Hobson (NZL), Helen Hughes-Keen (NZL) and Ricky MacMillan (AUS).

Birds Equisports Dressage with Altitude International is again delighted to have the support of other long standing major sponsors for the 2015 event – Jilli Cobcroft, Pryde’s Easifeed, Orange Vet Hospital, Hertz Bathurst, Mulawa Arabian Stud, Commins Hendriks Solicitors, Saddleworld, AusWest Seeds, HRC Group and the ongoing encouragement and backing from Equestrian Australia and Equestrian NSW.

Entertainment on both the Friday and Saturday evenings of the event has become signature sessions of DWA where audience participation and all in fun is guaranteed. The 2015 event will again see “The Running of the Dogs” Mini Prix Calcutta and educational session on the Friday evening, with the frivolity of the highly anticipated costume quadrille with trademark DWA twist featuring some of the DWA stars on the Saturday night prior to the hotly contested FEI Grand Prix Freestyle.

Tickets are limited and bookings for Saturday night are essential.
