Camden Residents Provide Hope for Brumbies

The Macarthur Chronicle has reported that residents in the Camden area are answering the call to save the lives of up to 250 brumbies, set to be trapped near Tumut in southern NSW in the next three weeks.
Forty people have so far committed to adopting a brumby in an attempt to avoid a repeat of last year’s slaughter of almost 150 of the wild horses sold at Camden saleyards. The animals were slaughtered for dog meat.
