Cavalia's 43 Pampered Horses Gallop into Perth in Red Carpet Style

Published on Thursday, November 28, 2013 in General

The 43 equine stars of Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Human and Horse in Perth are settling into their charmed lives in Perth today following a red carpet arrival, reports news.com.au.

Having holidayed in the Adelaide Hills after the show's last stop in South Australia, the horses yesterday jetted into WA on a chartered Boeing 747 equipped with roomy airstalls before being taken to their temporary home in Cavalia Village, alongside the White Big Top, at Belmont Racecourse.

The all-male herd, which includes 10 breeds, such as Spanish Purebred, Percheron, Lusitano, Warmblood, Australian stock horse and Quarter Horse, will be tended to by a 20-person stable team, including vets and trainers, and enjoy daily pampering including grooming and massages, in the 1500 square metre space.
