Charles Sturt University Equine Centre to Close
Charles Sturt University is pushing ahead with plans to close its equine management centre.
CSU announced in February that it was winding down the centre after TAFE Western ended its agreement with the university.
Since then two expressions of interest have been received to continue to manage the centre, but CSU says they are not suitable.
A spokesman says the university does not expect to receive any further interest in the equine facility and the EOI process is ending.
The centre takes up about 35 hectares of CSU's 500 hectare site.
It will remain as part of the campus and will be incorporated into the general farm operation.
The equine centre was custom built for education and horse breeding around 30 years ago.
