Comprehensive Coverage Of The Inglis Easter Yearling Sale

The 2016 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale will commence at 10am tomorrow, where lots 1 to 195 will go under the hammer on the opening day.

All three days of the sale are open to the public as the next greats of the turf are offered to local, interstate and international buyers.

The sale will be streamed on Inglis Sale Day Live, and will be broadcast in High Definition on Sky Thoroughbred Central (Channel 521), hosted by Andrew Bensley and Caroline Searcy, with roving reporter Jemma Cutting.

Sky Sports Radio will also broadcast live from Newmarket this week, featuring both the Big Sports Breakfast with Terry Kennedy and Michael Slater, and Racing HQ with Andrew Bensley.

The Easter Sale inspires greatness in the champions it presents. Saturday’s stunning performance of Chautauqua in the $2.5 million TJ Smith Stakes highlights the heights that Easter graduates attain.
Easter can take owners around the world, as evidenced by current overseas champions Able Friend (Hong Kong), Emperor Max (Singapore), Sacred Star (New Zealand) and Entisaar (South Africa).

At home in Australia graduates of Easter continue to find favour on the racetrack and in the breeding sheds. Politeness and Fenway continue the outstanding Group 1 record of Easter fillies on the track, while at stud Fastnet Rock, All Too Hard and Wandjina covered in excess of 150 mares each last season alongside fellow Easter graduate Deep Field, who was the most popular stallion in Australia last spring covering 257 mares in his first season.
