Cowra RSL Opens Australian Light Horse Memorabilia Display

Cowra RSL Sub-branch has opened the latest addition to its memorabilia display – Australian Light Horse regimental items – after many years of accumulation, storage and research.  In October 1914, approximately 8000 men and their Australian Waler horses embarked overseas for service in the First World War and this display provides invaluable insight into life in the Australian Light Horse.
