Equestrian Victoria wrapped up an action packed PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars (DJWTS) at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre (WPNEC) this weekend.

Australia’s premier young horse event had record-breaking entries into its Barastoc Young Jumping Horse Championships and PSI Young Dressage Horse Championships, which saw horses and riders from every state across Australia, compete to take home the Champion of Champions titles.

The Young Dressage Horse Champion of Champions title was won by Victoria based Hayley Gilbert riding the magnificent Sugarloaf Rubinell, who competed in the 5 Year Old Young Horse class.

The Barastoc Young Jumping Horse and Young Dressage Pony Champion of Champions titles went to New South Wales based competitors Diamond B Corsica ridden by Allyson Lamb and Noble Dancer ridden by Amanda Shoobridge respectively.

Equestrian Victoria CEO, Greg Pratt congratulated competitors, judges, sponsors and organisers on an outstanding event.

“It was an incredible three days at Dressage and Jumping with the Stars and the new hospitality offering has proved to be a huge success providing something for everyone at a fantastic family event. Competitors have put in truly brilliant performances and it has been fantastic to have Helen Langehanenberg and Yves Houtackers join us for the event,” said Equestrian Victoria CEO Greg Pratt.

International riding superstars Helen Langehanenberg, current FEI Dressage World Champion, and European showjumping coach and rider Yves Houtackers hosted Saddleworld Masterclasses with competitors and visitors over the three days of DJWTS.
