Denise Rogan's Float Stolen

Published on Sunday, December 19, 2010 in General

Australian Grand Prix dressage rider Denise Rogan has had her float stolen from the outside the Erskineville Bowling Club in Sydney on Thursday night last week (16 December).

The float is a custom built JR Easy Traveller Condamine (similar to the one pictured) with blue detail and number plate U66801.

Inside the two-horse float was a lot of horse gear including jackets and top hats, named wooden boxes and leather halters.

Commenting on the incident Denise said “It’s just so inconvenient; I think it must have been a professional job as the float was locked and had both wheel and tow bar locks on it.”

Distinguishing features unique to this particular float are that the steps to get into the front were square and not angled while a recent bit of handy work by Denise’s Dad would be obvious as he’d taken off the jockey wheel and welded it in the middle of the stabiliser bars.

If anyone has information on the missing float, please email Denise: d.rogan@bigpond.com
