Don Fredrico Colt Named Champion of the 2011 Mecklenburger Stallion Licensing

Beate Wedermann's Hanoverian branded Don Frederico x Wolkenstein I x Liberty M colt was named the Champion of the 2011 Mecklenburger Stallion Licensing at the State Stud in Redefin, Germany, on 23 - 26 November 2011. 

Eurodressage has reported that twenty-eight colts out of 57 presented were approved. Remarkably only four of them were actually branded Mecklenburger. There were 22 Hanoverians, 12 Oldenburgs and 8 Holsteiners presented for licensing trying their luck for licensing in Redefin. Mecklenburg is a small, showjumper oriented breeding area in Germany, which relies heavily on the influx of horses and business from Schockemohle's Mecklenburg based breeding station Gestut Lewitz.
