2012 DNSW Annual Awards and Performance Medals
• Novice Horse of the Year (Polaris Trophy): Highlight Australia - Judy Dierks (owner Janelle Duffy)
• Elementary Horse of the Year (Wassegies Trophy): Don de Sandro - Matthew Dowsley (owner Cheryl Smith)
• Medium Horse of the Year (Samaria Park Trophy): Diamond Star - Judy Dierks (owner Vicki Newham)
• Advanced Horse of the Year (Equestrian NSW Trophy): Amicelli Gold - Lesley Ann Taylor
• FEI Small Tour Horse of the Year (Dressage NSW Trophy): Flavio - Matthew Dowsley (owner Ken Dowsett)
• FEI Big Tour Horse of the Year (FEI Trophy presented by Dressage NSW): Luxor 118 - Daniella Dierks (owner Gregory Farrell)
• Pony of the Year: Meadow Brook Lise Marie – Sue Walker (owner Maureen Simpfendorfer)
The Horse and Rider of the Year will be selected by the NSW Selectors and presented at the Equestrian NSW Awards Night in February 2013.

Dressage NSW Performance Medals
137 horse/rider combinations from NSW are eligible for Dressage NSW Performance medals in 2012.
Six horses achieved "Gold" status.

• Highlight Australia - Judy Dierks (Janalle Duffy) Novice level
• Luxor 118 - Daniella Dierks (Gregory Farrell) FEI Small Tour & FEI Big Tour
23 Silver and 107 Bronze medals awarded this year.
A presentation to all Award and Medal winners will take place at the DNSW Christmas Pirouettes Party on Saturday, 25 November 2012 at the Hawkesbury Race Club.
