Dressage NSW is Pleased to Announce the Winners of the 2013 Annual Awards

The Dressage NSW 2013 Annual Awards winners are as follows: 

Novice Horse of the Year (Polaris Trophy)

Flowervale Florenz -  Kate Taylor-Wheat (owner Kate Taylor-Wheat)

Elementary Horse of the Year (Wassegies Trophy)

First Famous – Lisa Martin (owner Lisa Martin)

Medium Horse of the Year (Samaria Park Trophy)

World Royal - Daniella Dierks (owner Dierks Training Centre and Belcam Stud)

Advanced Horse of the Year (Equestrian NSW Trophy)

Diamond Star – Judy Dierks (owner Vicki Newham)

FEI Small Tour Horse of the Year  (Dressage NSW Trophy)

Albert – Rachael Downs (owner Rachael & Nerida Downs)

FEI Big Tour Horse of the Year (FEI Trophy presented by Dressage NSW)

Utopian Cardinal – Heath Ryan (owner Anthony Thornhill)

Pony of the Year (Meadow Brook Lise Marie Trophy donated by Maureen Simpfendorfer) 

Baringa Great Expectations - Brianna Cartwright (owner Brianna Cartwright)

The Horse and Rider of the Year will be selected by the NSW Selectors and presented at the Equestrian NSW Awards Night in February 2014.

Dressage NSW Performance Medals 

107 horse/rider combinations from NSW are eligible for Dressage NSW Performance medals in 2013.

Nine horses achieved "Gold" status.

47 Silver and 58 Bronze medals will be presented this year.

A presentation to all Award and Medal winners will take place at the DNSW Christmas Pirouettes end of year Party on Saturday, 23 November 2013 at the Hawkesbury Race Club.
