Dressage Top Eight Announcement

Equestrian Australia’s (EA) Dressage Selection Panel (DSP) is pleased to announce the eight nominated combinations that will go head to head at the two European nomination events during May and June in a bid to secure one of four positions on Australia’s Dressage team for the Rio Olympic Games. 

Congratulations to the following combinations:

1. Lyndal Oatley and Sandro Boy 9

2. Kristy Oatley and Du Soleil

3. Brett Parberry and DP Weltmeiser

4. Kelly Layne and Udon P

5. Mary Hanna and Umbro

6. Maree Tomkinson and Diamantina 4

7. Suzanne Hearn and Remmington              

8. Mary Hanna and Boogie Woogie 6

This list has been compiled by calculating the average of each combination’s best two results from the Grand Prix at CDI-Ws, CDI 3*, 4* and 5* events during the period 22 September 2015 to 10 April 2016. Combinations have been ranked according to the average of their best two results.

The two nomination events which athletes will go head to head at: 

• Odense Horse Festival, 12 - 16 May 2016, Odense, Denmark
• CHIO Rotterdam, 23-26 June 2016, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
