EA Calling for Expressions of Interest to Compete in Nations Cup, Florida USA

Equestrian Australia have received an invitation from the United States Equestrian Federation for a team of 4 rider/horse combinations to compete in a Nations Cup event to be held at the CSIO4* Wellington, Florida, on 2-6 March 2011.
 
Equestrian Australia will be sending a Chef d’Equipe (Stephen Lamb) to accompany the team for the event.
 
Equestrian Australia are offering European based members selected onto the team AU$5000 towards travel expenses.
 
The invitation is extended for all riders to participate in the other classes being offered at the Wellington set of shows, which will run for three weekends before and after the Nations Cup event.
 
Equestrian Australia would like to invite members to indicate their interest to compete at this competition in Florida. All interested combinations will need to complete the Expressions of Interest form.
 
The Show Organising Committee will provide the following:
  • Guarantee of prize money of US$15,000 per team rider.
  • A cash allowance of $2400 per team rider
The riders will be responsible for:
  • Return airfares to Florida (horse and rider)
  • Transport
  • All entries fees
  • Accommodation
  • Insurance (The EA National Office can assist with this insurance)

 

The EA National office will provide administration support and a uniform for the selected riders.
