EA Reveals Dressage & Jumping Nomination Events for 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

As per Equestrian Australia's 2014 World Equestrian Games selection policy for dressage, the eight horse and rider combinations that form the WEG long list will go head to head at two European events in a bid to secure one of the four positions on Australia's dressage team for WEG. 

Equestrian Australia can reveal the two events that the eight horse and rider combinations will contest are Fritzens CDI4* (AUT) from 4-6 July 2014 and Deauville CDI3* (FRA) from 25-27 July.

The average Grand Prix score of each rider from both events will be used to rank the combinations with the top four to form Australia’s team for WEG.

As per Equestrian Australia's 2014 World Equestrian Games selection policy for jumping, a two round nomination series will be staged in Europe to select Australia's Jumping team.

There will be eight horse and rider combinations that contest the series, with the jumping selection panel to determine the combinations or before 1 June 2014.

Equestrian Australia has announced the two events that the combinations will contest are Mons Ghlin CSI4* (BEL) from 3-6 July and Spangenburg CSI3* (GER) from 10-13 July.
