Equestrian Australia's High Performance Advisory Panel Seeks Nominations

Published on Monday, December 12, 2011 in General

With the implementation of Equestrian Australia's High Performance Strategic Plan "Roadmap to Success" during 2011, a High Performance Advisory Panel has been introduced to the HP Program.

The role of this committee which will be advisory and is to utilise the collective High Performance experience of the group to monitor international trends and development in high performance sport and to support further development of the High Performance Program.

This committee will consist of the High Performance Manager (Chair) and the National Performance Directors (NPD’s) within the High Performance Program as well as one representative from each Dressage, Jumping and Eventing.

Equestrian Australia is now calling for expressions of interest for one representative from the disciplines of Dressage, Eventing & Jumping to join the HP Advisory Panel.   The term of the appointment will be for 3 years to December 2014.   The committee will meet twice per year, most likely in conjunction with HP week and Equitana.

Appointees to these panels would ideally have extensive high performance knowledge, experience and expertise relevant to their discipline, a broad knowledge and understanding of high performance sport in general and the ability to communicate and discuss a range of issues in a group environment.

Expressions of interest should be sent to the High Performance Manager brett.mace@equestrian.org.au by 10 January 2012 outlining relevant experience and a brief resume.
