EQUITANA Kicks Off in Less Than One Month!

The countdown to EQUITANA Sydney has certainly begun, with less than one month left to the event, excitement is in the air!

The EQUITANA Sydney Official Program will be inserted in Rural Press regional newspapers, in just a couple of weeks! You will be able to read up about your favourite presenters, competitions, breeds and exhibiting companies.

Planning your day(s) will also be made easier with the full Event Timetable, Education Timetable and daily highlights overview, all available in this full colour keepsake.

Paul Tapner Presenting Eventing Mini-class

An extremely driven, hard working and popular Australian event rider, Paul has had wins at all levels on a variety of horses. Most notably he was the winner of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials in 2010. Paul describes himself as a “highly motivated workaholic and an insomniac” - a formula that clearly works for him! Paul will be opening the Exhibition Eventing program with an Eventing Mini-Masterclass, commencing at 3.45pm. For more information please click here.

 

NSW Mounted Police

NSW Mounted Police (pictured) is the oldest continuous Mounted Police unit in the world. The unit is a statewide resource performing a wide scope of duties including support for public order management, events and traffic management. They will be performing a Police Musical Ride for on Saturday 12th Nov at 12.15pm on the Outdoor arena.  The riders and horses will complete a variety of complex movements synchronised with the Police band and Pipe band’s musical and marching talents. Double Dan Horsemanship

At EQUITANA, Mitavite will be presenting the "Double Dans", bringing the largest display of Liberty horses that they have ever presented at any one event. Witness these great shows that will be the pinnacle of the daily program on the Outdoor Competition arena on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Double Dan have been travelling the country entertaining Australian audiences – and are expanding their audiences overseas. For more information on the Double Dans click here.
 
Equestrian Grand Final

Excitement is building as the list of riders invited to compete at the elite Grand Prix event was finalised today following the announcement of the “wild cards”. Fifteen riders gained qualification for the Equestrian Grand Final via performances at five of the premiere 2011 World Cup events held Australia wide. A further three riders, Chris Chugg (Glossodia, NSW), Brett Warren (Traveston, Qld) and Rebecca Allen (Arthurs Creek, Vic) have been granted ‘wild cards”. For more information click here.
