Being one of the only global cities in the world to retain full equestrian facilities in the middle of the city, Sydney’s best Equestrian Centre – the Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre – is open all year round offering great experiences for novices and experts alike.

“A Centennial Park Horse Ride is one of the best ways to see the Park. You witness some of Australia’s most historical monuments, birdlife, wildlife and not to mention magnificent views and vistas of the Sydney skyline and the park itself,” said Kim Ellis, Executive Director Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands.

“Over the past two years we have spent in excess of $1.5M upgrading the Equestrian Centre and its facilities. We also recently revitalised all our equestrian services including a new streamlined and user-friendly website and welcomed new riding school, Sydney Horse, which features Australia’s first mechanical horse.”

“Centennial Parklands is the place to go for locals, domestic and international visitors to horse ride in Sydney.”

As well as the Park Rides, Centennial Park features a 3.6 km equestrian track, weekly Pony Rides and school holiday programs so all ages can experience the freedom of horse riding in the city.

If you are looking more for improving your horse skills, sign up to one of the Parklands five riding schools that are available to teach both proficient riders and riders-to-be, through individual and group lessons.
