Expressions of Interest - Young Rider Team Competition, Bangkok

Equestrian Australia has received an invitation from the Thailand Equestrian Federation for a team of 3 Young Riders (turning between 16 and 21 in 2013) and plus 1 official to compete in a borrowed horse event at the CSIY-B at The Royal Horse Guard, Sanampao, Bangkok, 21-24 February 2013.

The event will consist of two levels of competitions:

-        Team competition 90-105cm

-        Individual competition 100-115cm

Equestrian Australia would like to invite members to indicate their interest to compete at this competition in Thailand. All interested riders will need to complete the Expressions of Interest form.

The Show Organising Committee will provide the following:

• Transfer from (airport - hotel - airport) and to and from the show ground.

• Accommodation

• The competition horses

• Meals

• Social Events

The riders will be responsible for:

• Return airfares to Thailand

• Any additional social activites

• Insurance (The EA National Office can provide a phone number for an insurance provider)

The Official/Chef’d Equipe will be responsible for:

• Return airfares to Thailand

• Receiving and returning the team uniforms from the EA

• Liaising with Team Members to coordinate travel so that all team members possibly travel together

• Provide team results and an event report/story post competition

• Complete the EA Chef report within 5 working days post competition.

• Insurance (The EA National Office can provide a phone number for an insurance provider)

The EA National office will provide administration support and a uniform for the selected riders.

Applications close at 5pm, Tuesday January 29th, 2013. No late applications will be considered.
