Fight Mud Fever and Greasy Heel with Pro-tect Cream
In winter it’s almost impossible for horses and their owner’s to escape the mud. But as this cold and damp season drags on, so does the amount of time your horse is spending in ankle deep mud. Around the water trough or at the gate - it’s a disturbing thought just how much time horses spend in boggy, slippery, and muddy conditions. And the longer they stand in the mud, the greater the risk of Mud Fever or Greasy Heel setting in.
The NRG Team has first-hand experience in battling Greasy Heel on their own horses every winter and this finally lead them to create NRG Pro-tect cream. This water-resistant cream has a sulphur base which has a wide range of health benefits for the horse.
Sulphur is one of the most abundant minerals found in a horse’s body and, through absorption, helps detoxify cells, relieves pain, assists with collagen production to heal scars and improve skin health, and provides a natural block against parasites and allergens.
NRG Pro-tect is water-resistant and absorbs into the skin to withstand immersion in water and the impact of rain for several days after application. The NRG Team and customers continue to have outstanding success with treating Greasy Heel and Mud Fever with liberal applications of NRG Pro-tect daily.
