You see, On Your Marcs is CatWalk’s life size gold stallion, hand painted by the former All Black Marc Ellis as part of the Resene Fastest Art Exhibition.

Well, On Your Marcs is just one of 18 life-size white horses which have been transformed into exquisite works of art by 18 interesting Kiwis as part of the lead up to the $2.2 million Telecom New Zealand Derby at Ellerslie in March.

The other horses are being sold via TradeMe but thanks to a unique offer from Ellerslie, On Your Marcs will be auctioned LIVE on course on the night of 12 March as part of the SkyCity Diamond Day at Cup Week.

Even if you can’t be there, it’s easy to bid on this easy-care wanna-be Secretariat, who’d certainly be a unique talking point for any stud, equestrian business or even the ultimate surprise gift for your someone special who just loves horses.
