G&DWPC Qld All Breeds Western Performance State Show

It's the first weekend of August and as is traditional for this time of year, western showing enthusiasts across Queensland will be heading to Nambour!

The Gunalda and District Western Performance Club (G&DWPC) are holding their annual Qld All Breeds Western Performance State Show at Nambour Indoor Arena on 5 - 7 August. 

This is a ‘AA’ Quarter Horse, PHAA and ‘AAA’ Approved show which features over $14,000 in cash prizes plus cut sapphires, rugs, halters, bridles and more! So there'll be plenty of top horses from all western breeds in attendance at this prestigious event.

The committee are proud to have secured the judging services of Marilyn Randall (USA) for this year's show.  Marilyn is an Associate Professor of Equine Studies and has been with Rocky University since 1992. She is an accredited judge with AQHA, NRHA, NSBA, APHA, NRCHA and an FEI-I rated reining judge and has travelled to 13 countries to judge such prestigious events as the AQHA World Show, AQHA Select World Show, AQHYA World Show, APHA World Show, NRHA Futurity and All American Quarter Horse Congress.

  • $600 Sires Progeny Halter Futurity
  • Sires Progeny Halter Classic
  • Four $400 Ridden Sires Progeny Classes + $200 Stallion Incentive
  • 2011 Nominated Sires Parade
  • $400 Open Versatility
  • $200 Youth Versatility
  • $400 Open Trail Stakes, Junior & Senior Western Pleasure Classics
  • $400 Reining Classic & Horsemanship Stakes
  • $400 Hunter Under Saddle Classic
