Judi Adams from Tasmania is the lucky winner of the Galahad Equine Slogan Competition in association with Horsezone. Judi and three friends will travel to Sydney next weekend to attend the Weekend of World Cups at SIEC and use their four VIP tickets to the event.

Commenting on her win "I am so surprised and very excited to be making the trip up to Sydney"

Galahad Equine's Ben Kirkup "Judi's slogan is perfect for my Equiterr All Weather Arena Surface"

Judi's slogan that will now be used by Galahad Equine was "Equiterr - A smoother ride under hoof"

Equiterr is a permanently elastic floor panel, specially developed to create a stable and non-skidding surface for riding and exercise areas of all types. Equiterr can be ridden on in all weather, even during periods of sustained rain.

  • Equiterr’s  honeycomb panels create a multi layered drainage system that allows water to drain from the surface and takes the impact of the hooves.
  • The Equiterr panels separate your arena substructure from the top layer, stabilizing your arena base and minimising the cost of sand/ rubber needed as a top layer for your arena.
  • Completely relocatable – the panels simply click into each other, allowing them to be easily removed and re-laid should you move house or change your exercise area.
  • Once laid, Equiterr surfaces require modest expenditure on maintenance.

Features

  • Permanently water-permeable base reduces water pooling the surface
  • Prevents the arena substructure and the sand upper mixing and reduces the need for a thick sand/ rubber top layer
  • Absorbent to the impact of hooves
  • Can be laid easily and quickly and is completely relocatable
  • Long term solution that reduces on-going expenditure on maintenance
  • The honeycomb structure offers high stability and prevents the erosion of the arena substructure during periods of heavy rain
