Get Ready to "Go Gallop"!
Published on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in General
What is Go Gallop?
Equestrian Queensland, in conjunction with EA, is developing a pilot junior equestrian awareness program called “Go Gallop”. The Queensland pilot of Go Gallop will commence early 2012, with the program being launched nationally mid-2012. Go Gallop is a program to encourage awareness and participation in the equestrian industry for juniors, regardless of their access or familiarity with horses. This program is designed to provide an option for junior horse lovers to learn about horses through a fun and exciting activity based format.
Who is Gee Gee?
“Gee Gee” the horse is the star of the Go Gallop program. Gee Gee is a friendly but sometimes cheeky horse, who can’t wait to meet new friends and introduce them to the world of horses. Gee Gee is pictured at right with some of his new friends at Equitana.
How do I get involved?
Queensland residents are invited to participate in the pilot of the Go Gallop Program by contacting the Equestrian Queensland office for further details.
