Girl Bitten and Kicked by Horse

A 12-year-old girl has been flown to Brisbane's Royal Children's Hospital with head injuries after being kicked by a horse.The girl was on a property near Grafton in northern NSW when the horse bit her in the throat and then kicked her, a spokesman for RACQ Careflight said.
After being flown to Grafton Hospital, the RACQ helicopter was called to take the girl to Brisbane at 8.30pm (AEST) on Saturday. She was accompanied by her mother.
"It's believed it happened on a property on the edge of Grafton," the spokesman said.
"The paramedics stabilised her head injuries and she was brought to Brisbane."
The spokesman said the girl is in a stable condition.
