The Glen Haven Park Grand Prix 2012 is being held at Kilcoy Showground on 7-8 July and is shaping up to be a fantastic event, with well over $18,000 in cash and prizes on offer!

Organiser Paula Hamood, of Glen Haven Park, is very pleased with the lead up to the event, saying, "The local community has been very supportive in getting behind this specialist event, to make it one of the premiere showjumping competitions for the year in Australia. We are very pleased to have many interstaters and some international competitors making the trip this year also!"

"There will be some trade stands, a fully catered sponsors marquee, riders marquee and a riders party at the Exchange Hotel on the Saturday night with a live band, which should be a great night out for all involved."

"There is free public entry to show and all are very welcome to attend. Come along, enjoy a family day out and watch some of Australia and New Zealand's best horses and riders battle it out for the Ian and Di McCauley Cup Grand Prix, the Jo Weller Memorial Mini Prix and the Exchange Hotel Future Stars Futurity Class! It will be two full days of showjumping with heaps of other classes on offer in the programme too, including the Horsezone 1.10m."

Course designer for the Main Arena will be David Sheppard (VIC), ably assisted by Paul Raymont, while Ian Hamilton will be taking care of designing the course for Arena Two.
