A groom position has become available with dressage sisters Tracy Smith and Nikki Kitcheman of Royston Equine for a few hours a day, four days a week, at their property on the outskirts of Hamilton (New Zealand).
Currently there are 17 horses at the stud, from young breakers to PSG dressage horses. The person would need to be confident dealing with young horses and will learn to help with breeding of their recently purchased stallion GT Jake and breaking in of the babies.
This is a great chance for someone to learn about all the aspects of a working stud.
Wages will depend on the candidate and could include lessons and bringing a horse as well.
For more information phone Tracy Smith on +64 22 07 12 113
