GVRHA “RIDE & SLIDE TO EQUITANA”: 14-16 November 2014

Presented by Goulburn Valley Reining Horse Association, “Ride & Slide” is set to be an event to remember. Don’t miss this opportunity to see some of the country’s best reining horses and riders, as well as some of the country’s most promising non pros, compete for a grand prize pool of $6000. 

Come along to the Tatura Park complex, boasting a huge indoor arena complete with elevated grand stand for comfortable viewing whatever the weather, to see these impressive athletes spin and slide their way to the top prizes on offer. The music will be turned up loud, the adrenalin pumping, and the crowd will be encouraged to get involved and make some noise for our competitors!! Fun for all the family, whatever the age – even if horses aren’t your thing you can be guaranteed a warm welcome and a great fun night of entertainment, including after party entertainment and the Trainer’s Triathlon, where we will see our reining professionals perform tasks a little more outside their comfort zone, much to the amusement of the crowd!

Reining is a horse sport unlike any other – the sheer athleticism and responsiveness of the reining horse needs to be seen to be believed. These horses spin on a dime, perform flying lead changes and surf some serious dirt in the trademark sliding stops. So come along, bring your friends and family, for a great value evening of entertainment!

Tickets are only $5 per person for the Saturday evening feature class and may be purchased on arrival, doors open at 5pm.
