Hall's Stock Horses: Campdrafting Royalty!

Published on Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Stallionzone

Hall's Stock Horses, situated at "Lightview" 12 km east of Goondiwindi, Queensland, is the home of Terry and Christine Hall and their three campdrafting stallions, Hazelwood Conman, Hazelwood Showman and Hazelwood Taylor Made.

Hazelwood Stud was also the home of the legendary mare Hazelwood Romance who was considered one of the best campdrafting mares Australia has ever seen. Read Romance's story here.

Both Terry and Christine are not only great horsemen and campdrafting competitors but are passionate teachers of the sport. Over the past 30 years they have also developed a proud tradition of producing top class campdrafting horses, capable of performing at the highest level of competition.

The Halls are regarded as the "first family of campdrafting" right across Australia and along with their children, Jane and Ben, have won every major event in the sport. Terry is the only horseman to have won the Triple Crown: the Warwick Gold Cup, the Chinchilla Grandfather Clock and the Canning Downs Draft. He has also won the World Championship Draft at Sydney Royal no fewer than three times. While Christine has won the prestigious Canning Downs Draft as well as the World  Championship draft at Dorrigo in 1991. Like Terry, Chris has many titles to her name. Ben Hall is a chip off the old block and amongst many other achievements, has now won the Warwick Gold Cup three times.

This breeding season is your chance to share in the Halls magic and success, by breeding your mares to their elite stallions, who are undoubtedly campdrafting royalty!
