Happy Halloween - The Ghost Horse of Myers Hall
Published on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in General
We think the Wittenberg University has been quite witty (pun intended) with this spooky video-poem!
Legend has it that a ghost horse haunts the fifth floor of a Wittenberg University building, Myers Hall and many students over the years have heard its galloping hooves. The story goes that well over 100 years ago, Myers Hall was used as a hospital for wounded soldiers during the civil war. A horse was taken up to the fifth floor of Myers to be with his dying owner and refused to go back down the stairs. According to the legend, the horse eventually died on the fifth floor and continues to gallop up and down the hall at night.
Happy Halloween!
