Help Out Hannah Dodd at Fundraising Events - 7 & 13 July

Published on Thursday, June 28, 2012 in 2012 London

Hannah Dodd, from Arcadia NSW, is the youngest member of the Australian Para-equestrian Dressage Team, which has been nominated for the London Paralympics 2012.  Hannah was born with Sacral Ageneisis, a rare genetic abnormality, with similar effects to Spina Bifida. Funding for the athlete and horse is provided by the Australian Paralympic Committee and Equestrian Australia, however, other funding for the essential team members needed to support Hannah is not provided.

Fundraising events have now been planned to help ensure Hannah's team, coach Peter Turner and her groom Nicole, are able to support her in London.

On Saturday 7 July there will be a trivia night at The Galston Club at a cost of $15 per person and on Friday 13 July there will be a Fundraising Dinner held at the Dural Country Club, with entertainment by George Vumbaca, at a cost of $70 per person. So, if you are in the area, be sure to go along to these events for some great nights out and to support a very worthy cause.
