Horse enthusiasts quiz the masters

The training of horses and riders will be the focus for a coming event at Mt Barker, South Australia. Horse SA is hosting Barrie and Sarita Stratton from the Academy of Dressage, in a night of information, questions and answers hosted by local rider Jane Hatch. 

The emerging sport of western dressage will be discussed, along with a comparison of contemporary and classical dressage styles and how to get started in online competitions. Riders & horse owners will be invited to raise questions from the floor on any aspect of horse training or rider technique, including young or difficult horses.

Barrie is an national ‘A’ level Dressage Judge, Judge Educator and Mentor, having guided many riders to Grand Prix level. Sarita has a lifetime with horses, including side saddle, working equitation and trick horse training.
