Horse Welfare Inc - Rescued Welsh Ponies Will Be For Sale
Horse Welfare Inc has advised that they have just saved 30 Welsh pony youngsters from slaughter (Four months to three years in age) . They arrived yesterday and an inventory of stock is being taken.
Jo Briggs of Horse Welfare Inc has advised, "all ponies will be up for sale to experienced homes. Prices range from $250 - $450. At this stage they are unregistered and may not be eligible. However, they are beautiful little guys whom I'm certain will make great kids mounts down the track. The majority look to be Welsh “B” types which mean they will grow to a reasonable height. There are a couple of Palomino’s and Cremello’s amongst them."
"We are desperately trying to find the breeder who has parted with these guys only a couple of weeks ago. We believe they may reside near the NSW/VICTORIA border. All info will be kept confidential. Would just like to be able to register these guys if possible".
An open day for interested purchasers will be held on Easter Saturday. CLICK HERE to visit the Horse Welfare Inc website.
