The Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre will be abuzz with excitement on Friday and Saturday 2-3 March for the annual RT Edgar EV Show Horse State Titles event.

The RT Edgar Equestrian Victoria Show Horse State Titles Show is the most exciting event on Victoria’s Show Horse Calendar. The winners will qualify to represent our state at the Australian Show Horse and Rider Championships to be held in December at Werribee Park.

Equestrian Victoria is thrilled to have partnered with the virtual equine sales ring ‘Horsezone.com.au’ for the large hack championship for horses over 16 Hands. Last years’ winner; ‘DP Amazing’ ridden by Dale Plumb went on from winning the state championship to winning the Australian Championship representing Victoria.

The well attended class sees the most majestic of hacks strutting their stuff to a panel of well appointed interstate judges; this year Mark Kenzig from NSW, Anne McMinn from TAS, and Denise Fenwick from SA.

This full colour affair offers beautifully presented horses & ponies, superbly turned out riders, garlands and sashes as the order of each day. Two days of packed competition to entertain and delight all visitors. This exciting event provides the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, shop in the Trade Village and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of elite equines & equestrians.

With more than 300 competitors, 1200 supporters, grooms and their families, and a plethora of industry media in attendance the event offers a fantastic weekend of high calibre horse competition.

There are still limited opportunities for partnership; if interested please contact Sue Thompson at suethompsonev@gmail.com or Elia Lom at Sponsorship@equestrianvictoria.com.au for further information.
