Inglis Sydney Classic Yearling Sale Updates Flowing In

Pedigree updates are flowing in ahead the 2012 Inglis Sydney Classic Yearling Sale , which begins in a fortnight on Sunday 22 January.

Classic will be held at Newmarket over three days from January 22-24.

Since the catalogue went to print, no less than 40 yearlings to be offered at Classic have had siblings win. 

2012 Classic yearlings that have received notable recent updates include:

Lot 47 – Beautiful Crown-Pretty Special (Bay Colt) – Half-brother to Gai Waterhouse’s Listed BRC Bernborough Handicap winner KONTIKI PARK

Lot 195 – Casino Prince-Wasabi Miss (Bay Colt) – Half-brother to Palepale, a recent winner at Sha Tin in Hong Kong

Lot 202 – Duke Of Marmalade-Wisp (Bay Filly) – Three-quarter sister to Al’s Knight, who won his fourth straight race in Singapore in December

Lot 211 – Tale Of The Cat-Zakuro (Bay Filly) – Half-sister to Liancourt Rock, who was recently placed at Group 2 level in South Africa

Lot 235 – God’s Own-Angora (Bay Colt) – Half-brother to stakes winner CANALI, who notched up his seventh career win at Caulfield in December.

Lot 348 – Lonhro-Davilora Dane (Bay or Brown Filly) – Half-sister to the dam of recent Group 2 ARC City of Auckland Cup winner SINGLE MINDED

Lot 400 – Nadeem-Floribunda (Bay Filly) – Half-sister to stakes placed Royal Esprit, who is now the winner of six races following another Saturday metropolitan win in Sydney on Christmas Eve

Lot 408 – Not A Single Doubt-Gallant Miss (Chestnut Colt) – Half-brother to Gallant Spur, who has won three times for trainer Darren Smith since the catalogue went to print

Lot 565 – Oratorio(IRE)-Mrs Bobo (Bay Colt) – Brother to Trevor Andrews trained Wicked Game who won twice at Ascot WA in December
