Joann Formosa OAM - Be Part of the Dream!
London Paralympic Gold medallist Joann Formosa is looking for potential partners in a syndicate to purchase her next Paralympic mount. Jo is searching for a very special horse and special horses do not come cheap!
Jo needs financial support in order to secure such a horse to move towards her next goal which is defending her Paralympic title at the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016. Jo is looking for 20
syndicate members, either private or corporate, to purchase shares of $5000 each for the purchase of this next medal \ contender.
We are specifically sourcing a licensed stallion so that, like her London partner Worldwide PB, some of the ongoing costs can be covered by service fees. There is also the potential for syndicate members over time to recoup some of their investment in this way.
The syndicate members would each receive a certificate of ownership, monthly updates on the training and competition progress of the partnership, invitations to attend each of the competitions, particularly the Paralympic Selection events at which the pair will be competing throughout 2015/16, invitations to demonstrations and Open Days, and so on. Also Jo is a very inspiring motivational speaker and is very happy to speak at any functions or meetings for syndicate partners.
The Selection period for Rio Paralympics begins in December 2015 so as you can see, time is of the essence. It takes considerable time to develop a new partnership between a horse and rider, so we hope to secure the purchase of Jo’s new stallion by Christmas 2014, and have him arrive in Australia early 2015 to begin developing their partnership.
We urge you to consider joining Jo on the next stage of her inspirational journey.
